NET CARBS

HOW TO FIND NET CARBS!

Don’t need to buy a big fancy calculator or be a math expert. I can tell you how to calculate the net carbs quick and easy.

First identify the Total Carb section on the label you are reading.

Then, find the Fiber count on the same label.

Subtract the Fiber count from the Total Carbs in product.

That is the NET CARBS of the product.

It is important to learn how to read a nutrition label correctly. I walk you through how to read a label in my ebook…KETO LIFT-OFF.SHOP HERE

Why don’t we count the fiber?

Great question. Fiber does not require insulin in order to digest, so it doesn’t spike insulin or result in storage of fat. Fiber is digested by the bacteria found in our large intestine.

Be aware that some food manufacturing companies use fake forms of fiber in order to lower there net carb count and promote a product as “low carb”. Please check out my sugar reference page for key words to look for as you shop for food.LEARN HERE
